NetPlus® extends its leadership position by becoming the first and only Telecommunications Management System (TMS) vendor to be certified by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) on all unified communications and legacy switch systems on the Approved Product List (APL) for the Department of Defense (DoD). NetPlus® software was subject to a rigorous battery of security tests by JITC and came out with zero findings, meaning JITC was unable to penetrate NetPlus’ security defenses.

“Having zero findings with JITC is an incredible feat. Their testing standards are second to none in terms of security and quality assurance. This certification is a huge benefit to our DoD and civilian clients, they can rest assured their data is always secure in NetPlus,” said Matt Lewis, President of NetPlus.

In a memorandum to NetPlus JITC states:

“[NetPlus Telecommunications Management System (TMS)] meets the critical requirements of the Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR)… and is certified for joint use as Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Telecommunications Management System (TMS),” furthermore, “[NetPlus TMS] is certified for network management via Internet Protocol with any Avaya AS5300, Avaya S8xxx, and Cisco Unified Communication Manager switches that have been or are currently listed on the UC APL.”

Cisco® Unified Communications Manager, Avaya® AS5300, and Avaya® CS2100 are just a few of the popular switches on which NetPlus has gained JITC certification for all telecommunications management functionality (Configuration Management, Call Accounting, Fault Management, and Traffic Management). The JITC certification for NetPlus crosses all UC and legacy switches on the APL. Additionally NetPlus has been certified on Microsoft ® Windows® 2008 Server and Oracle® 11 platforms, further engraining NetPlus as a leading telecom technology vendor.

“As DoD migrates from legacy voice solutions to VoIP and UC solutions, there is one clear choice in the marketplace to help them rapidly migrate and effectively manage their enterprise environment. That choice is NetPlus and our suite of TMS, Telecom Expense Management (TEM), and Wireless Expense Management Solutions. Our products are proven, reliable, and easy to use,” said Lewis.

NetPlus® TMS automates communications network operations and management to improve end-user service, allocate and control costs, increase data accuracy and accessibility, and streamline communication flows. It has been specifically designed for enterprise-level converged networks and can be quickly deployed to provide an integrated view across legacy telecom and VoIP networks.
